A YES Vote on Question 6 would….
- Allow abortion through all 9 months, without limits
- Eliminate basic health & safety standards designed to protect women
- Allow minors to have abortions without parental consent
Vote NO
on Nevada Question 6.
If passed, this amendment will:
- Remove health and safety standards from abortion facilities.
- End requirements that medical doctors commit abortions.
- Remove parental consent & notification requirements, leaving parents of minors in the dark.
- Legalize abortion up until birth, making Nevada’s abortion law as extreme as states like Oregon, California, & Washington.

What does a “Yes” vote on Question 6 mean?
Voting “Yes” on Question 6 will mean adding taxpayer-funded abortion through all nine months, for any reason, into your state’s constitution. Once added, this will be very hard to remove or change.
Will a “No” vote on Question 6 take away all abortion?
Voting “No” on Question 6 doesn’t repeal any existing state laws regarding abortion. All state laws protect the right to life-saving care for mothers, as well as in other extreme medical conditions, and Nevada already allows abortion in cases of rape and incest.
Will voting against Question 6 remove miscarriage & ectopic pregnancy care?
Neither miscarriage nor ectopic pregnancies are treated through abortion and therefore are completely unrelated to Question 6. Sadly, some political groups use these real, traumatic events to fearmonger voters into supporting something they otherwise would not (abortion up until birth). Necessary healthcare for miscarriages and ectopic pregnancies is already legal in every state and widely available at hospitals and clinics.
What is a late-term abortion and how much can it cost?
Late-term abortions, or those done beyond 16 weeks‘ gestation (about 4 months of pregnancy), are invasive surgical procedures that either dismember or poison the preborn child. By this point in a baby’s gestation, the baby has a heartbeat, can feel the pain of the procedure, and has developed all internal organs. Late-term abortions are sold to women for anywhere from $500-$10,000 and are never medically necessary (the baby can simply be delivered whole and alive – see more below in the “Testimonials” section). Women are often unnecessarily sold these procedures for thousands of dollars by abortion industry leaders who have financial self-interest in keeping late-term abortions legal through ballot measures.
